In summer, the terrace is an ideal spot for peace and relaxation. Unwind on the garden furniture during the day and round off the day peacefully with a glass of wine.
On the other side of the nearby railway line, there is a mountain bike trail as well as woodland paths that are perfect for jogging or leisurely walks. You’ll be staying just outside the town of Silkeborg, where you can visit the Asger Jorn Museum or relax at one of the swimming pools. The many lakes and the hilly, wooded landscapes also offer plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature. Go for a hike, take a canoe trip on the River Gudenåen, or head to Himmelbjerget to enjoy the magnificent panoramic views.
Please note: Passenger trains run near the house during the day – four times an hour on weekdays and twice an hour at weekends. As the house does not have a ventilation system, we recommend opening the windows regularly to let in fresh air.
