The charming thatched house on the north side of the island has been gently renovated with respect for the original architecture. Enjoy the undisturbed environment, but where you cannot expect to be alone, as the biodiversity here is unparalleled. Pheasants, red deer, hares and other game run free here. From the house you have a panoramic view of the bay, on clear days you can see the horizon. Venø is a small, cozy island with frequent ferry service (www.venoefaergefart.dk) and a popular vacation destination also for locals which is the best recommendation. On the island there is a famous restaurant where you can try Venästeak, oysters and mussels and other local specialties.
