All around in the 25 hectare area there are trails that you can use. As a special feature, during your stay you have the exclusive right to fish in the lakes (without a fishing license), here you can catch trout, flounder and eel (for prices per fish caught, please see the notice in the house). The house owner releases fish in the area, so there is always something to catch. The living space is distributed on two floors: on the first floor is the hall, 1 bedroom with a great view of the lake, a bathroom and 1 more bedroom in the souterain with enem double and a bunk bed. The harbor with its quiet charm, the piers and dunes invites you for a walk.In Thorsminde you can also visit the St. George Museum and get an insight into life at sea and its dangers. At Christmas 1811, one of the most disastrous strandings in history took place here, when two English liners ran aground in a violent storm, killing nearly 1400 sailors, to whom a memorial stone was erected in 1937.If you head south, you will reach Husby.
