Recently refurbished, this charming cottage is ideal for a great family holiday in Belgium. The holiday home is located near the small town of Poperinge in West Belgium, 13 km from the city of Ypres and 7 km from the Belgian-French border. For cycling lovers, this region is especially known for cycling tours to Kemmelberg, and the Hoppeland cycle route and the Poperinge mountain bike trails can also be found.
The property has five bedrooms (hosting up to eleven guests), two bathrooms, a spacious living room, a fully-equipped kitchen and a dining room. It also has a wellness room with sauna and whirlpool, offering pure relaxation to guests, and a games room with table football and table tennis.
The holiday home has free Wi-Fi and digital TV. For families with babies, there is a changing table, a baby bath, bottle warmer and three cots available. Outside, there is a lovely fenced garden with barbeque facilities as well as a playground area for children to have fun.
For children, trips to Bellewaerde in Yeper and Plopsaland in De Panne are recommended. The wide beaches of De Panne can be reached in half an hour by car. For the ski lovers, the covered ski track Ice Mountain in Komen is ideal. There is a total of 10,000 m2 of ski slopes available here, which is open all year round. Hiking is possible in the Galgebos (gallows forest), Palingbeek and Helleketelbos. Trips to art cities such as Bruges and Lille (Rijssel) are also recommended.
Options are not possible for this house. This house is mainly intended for family groups. However, non-family groups may be accepted with the consent of the owner, and possibly with an increase in the deposit. Groups of people under the age of 30 are strictly prohibited.
