Albarella is a private island nestled in the lagoon south of Venice, in the Po Delta Regional Park, and is one of the most elegant and best-equipped holiday destinations on the Adriatic. It is connected to the mainland by a bridge. The island has an excellent tourist infrastructure and is dedicated to sport. It has a wealth of leisure activities and attractions to fulfil every wish, in the spirit of absolute relaxation and for young and old. The contact with the surrounding nature and the wide range of entertainment options allow you to enjoy your holiday to the full. The safety of guests is guaranteed around the clock by a discreet and attentive security service and the magnetic badge required to enter the island is only issued to owners and guests on Albarella. Cars are not allowed on the island. The main means of transport is the bicycle and you can hire numerous different models for adults and children on site. A small electric train is also available during the day. The island is the natural habitat of fallow deer, pheasants, hares, herons, marsh harriers, little egrets and black-winged stilts. Over 4 km of free and well-equipped sandy beaches with a variety of events and programmes for children. A family-friendly destination with a children's playground with trampoline park, ball paradise, mechanical bull and baby kart track. A wide range of sporting activities including 18-hole golf course, tennis, horse riding, archery, minigolf, bowling, aerobics, jogging, skating, basketball, volleyball, tennis, football, table tennis, beach volleyball, beach tennis, beach football, water aerobics, swimming, outdoor gymnastics, sailing, windsurfing, fishing and deep-sea fishing. Organisation of group trips to the Po Delta Park and nearby historic cities such as Venice, city on the water. The island offers numerous shopping facilities for every need: a shopping centre with supermarket, catering, bakery, pastry shop, clothes shops, florist, newspapers and tobacco, hairdresser for men and women, optician and photo shop, snack bar, video and DVD rental, sporting goods, shoes and bags, perfumery, typical kiosks, self-service laundry and cash machine. In summer, health and medical services, ambulance service. A wide range of restaurants, pizzerias, bars, coffee, ice cream parlour, beer bar. Music evenings for happy hours, disco evenings and various evening events in the amphitheatre. The island's multilingual entertainment team entertains children, teenagers and adults with games and sports competitions. Albarella has a harbour with around 450 berths for boats from 6 to 25 metres, equipped with electricity, water connections and fire extinguishing systems. Note: Motorhomes, caravans and motorbikes are not permitted on the island. They can be parked in the car parks at the entrance.
