Description

This rugged landscape is equally inviting for a river tour by canoe, and those looking for an adrenaline rush will also get their money's worth with paragliding there. Via the highway you can reach Mont-Saint-Michel and its bay, which you can explore on foot with a mudflat guide. To the north you can experience the landing beaches of the Allies, and to the east Falaise or the birthplace of William the Conqueror awaits you. Worth seeing there is especially the castle of the same name. And if you go in the opposite direction or to the west, you will come to Villedieu-les-Poêles, known for its traditional bell foundry, its coppersmiths and the tradition of lace making.
