Description

Situated in the heart of the cider country, these converted stone farm buildings command superb panoramic views across the countryside. The row of three attractive holiday homes, and additional cottage, with their colourful window boxes, rest in mainly lawned grounds of approximately three acres – within which is a nine hole pitch and putt course. Guests are free to play whenever they wish. A large fenced swimming pool is shared between the houses, as are other facilities such as badminton and an area to play petanque/boules. The owners live on-site, they and their guests will occasionally use the pool. Internally the houses have a wealth of natural timber, old beams and stone, but all with modern amenities. There are miles of beautiful, uncrowded sandy beaches within half an hour's drive on good quiet roads, together with many points of interest such as Villedieu-les-Poêles with its copper industry, bell foundry and museums, Granville's working fishing port, and the magnificent cathedral at Coutances, to name but a few of the many diverse attractions in the area. Normandy is synonymous with good food and drink, and the tradition is well upheld with the numerous small inexpensive restaurants in the area offering local seafood and delicious cheeses. With the fresh country air and magnificent sunsets, if you seek a holiday of peace, gentle exercise and relaxation, you will not be disappointed.
