Wander around the historical sun-drenched town of Béziers, capital of the Languedoc vineyards which stretch as far as Narbonne, 33km, and Carcassonne, 83km. Narbonne is a lovely town to wander around in the shade of its plane trees. Montpellier and Carcassonne are also well worth a visit.
