Or you may be drawn to Bornholm's Medieval Center, where you can learn more about the island's past - including climbing aboard a pirate ship. Bornholm's art museum, the beautiful Helligdom clippers and the round church of Østerlars - the largest on the island - are also not far away and all worth a visit.
